Breyanna

Pinched legs and braided pig tails
carefree and barefoot.
She runs in rambling patterns of wonderment.
He watches from a dirt dusted, rain stained porch front
…smiling at her progression, feasting on her revery.
Her foot patterings on the back of earth's troubled sod soothed his soul quick like sugar cubes melt in calescent tea chalice.
New life pulsing after storm song,
sweet kiss after sorrow.
She is beauty in bloom;
babe wrapped in flower petal.
Purity in suspension,
her smile echoed hope, offered salvation.
